I’m reading that there are many parental control software like K9 that show explicit images when the user use the Incognito Mode. Is this the same thing with pcwrt?

I tried with another browser, Firefox, and there is no problem, also with Incognito mode.

The problem is Chrome in Incognito Mode. My Chrome version is: 49.0.2623.112 (Windows XP SP3).

Today safesearch has been turned off for 2 hours!

Is a bug of pcwrt with Chrome?

I’ve found where’s the problem. The problem appears in Incognito Mode only.

Look here:

1) Searching the word “hot” in Google Images and it shows explicit images.

2) SafeSearch inactive (I’ve circled it in red)

3) After 10, 15 minutes, SafeSearch is active again.

4) nslookup (it shows me “forcesafesearch.google.com” also when safesearch was disabled on “Incognito Mode”, at the same time.

There isn’t no problem in “Normal Mode”. Sometimes safesearch work again after 10 minutes, other times after 30 minutes. But is really simple to find oneself in this situation. This is a big problem.

As i said in an another thread, i have a old pc and i use Chrome in Incognito Mode only. Incognito Mode speed up the browsing session so much, it’s almost impossible to surf in internet in Normal Mode, it’s too slow.

I need to resolve this problem.

P.S. I have to test this problem on another device, and on another browser.

It’s like if Google SafeSearch had a “cycle”. For example, safesearch is active for 1 hour, then, for 10, 20 minutes is off, then it works again.

And i don’t know if this is a problem by Google or by pcwrt.

Because on the right of the page that isn’t “Safe Search Active” anymore.

Infact for to prove this, i’ve searched terms like “sex” or “hot” and i had results. After 15, 20, 30 minutes safe search is active again.

I had this problem just 1 hour ago.

I don’t understand so much this step.

No, i haven’t Steam. But there are many discussions on the net where people talk about this. This internal Steam Browser can bypass any restriction.

Can you prove this? Youtube is full of videos about Steam Browser, for example this:

Not, i haven’t any firewall or anti-virus because my pc is too old. I have just windows Xp firewall enabled. Anyway, when i have this problem, i do “ipconfig /flushdns” and the problem is solved.

But, after a bit of time, i have the same problem again. I’m waiting for to buy another home pc, this time with Windows 7.

Into internet setting i’ve put Norton DNS. Into Parental Control i’ve put OpenDNS. I use these DNS.

I’ve tried to use another browser too, it’s the same.

Please fix this problem, it’s impossible to surf in internet. There’s a site that doesn’t work every 5 minutes.
