Set up VPN on router 1, connect router 2 WAN port to a LAN port on router 1. Set up VPN on router 2, connect your device to a LAN port on router 2 (or WiFi). If you want to add another router, chain router 3 to router 2 the same way, then connect your device to router 3.

You need to login to the local interface. With your device connected to the pcWRT WiFi, entering http://192.168.10.1 in your browser will bring up the local interface.

Since this started after you switch ISP, you might want to check with your ISP about Internet outages. Here are some commands that may help you diagnose the problem:

• ping 1.1.1.1, if you have successful pings, there is Internet connectivity.
• nslookup www.google.com, if the ping command succeeds but this nslookup fails, then there is a DNS problem.
• nslookup www.google.com 1.1.1.1 or nslookup www.google.com 8.8.8.8, try with domain service with different DNS servers. But this works only on devices for which Access Control is not enforced on the router. Otherwise the router clamps the DNS to the one selected in Access Control.

If you connect the Hubitat hub to a port assigned to X1, then all devices connected to the Hubitat will be on the router’s X1 network.

The three choices for AdGuard are:

• Default: Blocks ads, trackers, malware, and phishing websites
• Family protection: Blocks ads, trackers, malware, phishing websites, and adult content
• Non-filtering: Provides a secure connection without blocking anything

The IP addresses 94.140.14.14 and 94.140.15.15 are AdGuard Default, which include ad blocking. If you choose this option and enable “Ad Blocking” in Access Control, then ad blocking will be the union of both lists.

Ad blocking via the Access Control option can be bypassed on demand by clicking the Pause button on the Ad Block Control page. But it doesn’t bypass ad blocking via AdGuard DNS.

That’s not the message from the router blocking ping across VLANs. The latter looks like: “From 10.159.157.1 icmp_seq=1 Destination Port Unreachable”.

How are the devices connected on the X1 and LAN networks? Does the destination host block ping?

If you checked the box on row LAN and column X1, the you should be able to ping a device on X1 from a device on LAN. Vice versa for X1 and LAN.

“Block Ping” is for ping blocking from the WAN.

What response did you get when you ping LAN from X1?
