Question Backup/Restore Settings

Under Backup/Restore Settings there are three buttons:
1. Restore Factory Default
2. Backup
3. Restore Backup

Question: If I do a “backup” does that include the firmware ?

Suppose I am on firmware V3. I make a backup.
There is new firmware V4. I do an update to V4.
If I now do “restore backup” does the router go back to V3 and the settings I made ?

The backup is configuration only. When you restore a backup, your configurations will be restored. The firmware will stay at the current version.
